At home with Chandon

A couple of weeks ago, James moved down to London from Suffolk. We wanted to have some friends over to celebrate a little because it's the beginning of something new, and who doesn't want to toast to the future? I've been working with Chandon this Summer so they kindly gave us a few bottles of gorgeous sparkling wine to celebrate with. So on Sunday evening, a few wonderful people we know headed over with lovely treats and happy new home cards for us and we listened to my terrible playlist and caught up on well, everything! There was every crisp and chocolate brand imaginable and James fully outdid himself and cooked us all a cracking chilli. I think everyone had seconds, and as I'm trying this, I'm eating the leftovers.

Earlier in the day James and I had spent HOURS trying to hang some art up to put the finishing touches on the flat. Let me just say, hanging artwork is no five minute job, and I'd pay you to find someone that has such a skill. The drama! I was basically still hoovering brick dust up when everyone arrived but hey, they wouldn't be friends if they didn't say 'Let me help!".

Working in this industry has seen me fortunate enough to make some absolutely incredible friends, and friends that aren't just 'blogger friends' but real ones. It's so important to me to have a network of friends here in London, I still have a lot back up North and it's not always easy to hop on a train to visit each other.

You might recognise this gorgeous lot as Lauren, Lizzy, Kim and Liv. And the boys too!

Thank you so much for reading. xx
