Blousey

Here I am again with a fairly basic palette. I love the design and detail of this look because it’s oversized but also smart and tailored. Topshop Boutique is among my favorite high street shopping destinations and for good reason. The pieces differ so much from the mainline, which tends to be very trend led. I always find Boutique is a little more off the cuff, and designed to give you something a little extra special from your clothes. The fit is always bang on, and they use more premium fabrics. In turn, it’s a little more expensive but still high street prices. I always head straight to Boutique when I’m shopping in store or online, because honestly, it always delivers. I would size down, in this particular top by one size as it is super roomy.

I shot this look on the most beautiful sunny, crisp day in Marylebone, London. I absolutely love London in the Spring and on this day, it gave me a little glimmer of hope that its not so far away. The light can really affect the mood of a city (and the photography!) and I always notice such an uplift in the general mood of everyone around me when its just that little bit more light and sunny.

I’ll be taking this top straight into Spring and Summer this year. It’s perfect for a Summer holiday as it’s really lightweight and easy to wear. I’ve just been in the Caribbean, I know! I’m sorry! And I wore it with a denim skirt and rust coloured slide on sandals. On repeat.
