Relaxed Tailoring with La Redoute
La Redoute are such a strong favourite of mine in the fashion department (we already know this is also true of the homeware department, but more on that at a later date). I still feel like they are underrated. The price point, quality and design is just that more carefully curated than that of a high street store. And whilst I love that I can expect not to find someone roaming the streets in the same chunky knit that I'd been so excited about finding on La Redoute, I can't wait for you guys to see more online.
I wanted to explore suiting, I know, I'm at it again, sorry! And La Redoute were one of the first online stores I checked. I immediately fell in love with this deconstructed, casual suit in their Ines Olympe Mercadal collaboration. Which by the way, you'll also love, the collaborations they have are with some of the coolest, chicest French women and I for one, would like to adopt their style.
This suit is so perfect if you're not hugely into tailoring, let's say, I'm here to ease you into it. The wide leg, (cropped on a 6ft me, probably not on you) trousers are such a great fit, figure hugging around the bottom and waist then flare out perfectly on the leg. I've been wearing them with t-shirts and roll necks too.
The jacket is such a strong cut, it meets your waistline and feels a little oversized which is great when you're wanting a more casual look. I really love how boxy it is too. I paired it with converse and a fitted roll neck for a more casual feel.
