Things I did and wore this week

Hello you lot, firstly, thank you so much for all of the support on my last post. I'll never get over how kind a place the internet can be, especially, you lot! Somehow, I always feel that nobody will see it what I put out into the world, and then you overwhelm me with your lovely messages and remind me that yes, Linds, its on THE INTERNET. So thank you, so very much.

I thought I'd share with you some things I've been up to and what I'm loving wearing at the moment. Me, and my many lovely mates who I've spent time with over the past week shot these bits on film and honestly, having such a quick and lovely way to capture things is really making me happy! I hope you enjoy it too.

This look is one of my favourites, but only when it's warm! This was one day last week when the sun came out for a couple of hours and it actually felt something like Spring. I was in Central London having a couple of meetings, and buying some new shoes for when it gets a bit warmer (coming to the blog soon!) and I saw via the power of social media that my friend Katherine and her boyfriend and their new baby Grey were in town too. I picked up the phone hoping they still were and they were! So we headed off for an early afternoon snack and what was planned to be a coffee but turned into some fancy French Rosé. I can't complain!

Loewe bag Last friday I went on a girls day out with Lizzy and Lily to visit our mate Anna in Brighton. Now, I've never been to Brighton before and I will absolutely be going back (largely because Anna lives there and she is wonderful) but the place is gorgeous. It's so cool! We had a walk down the pier, and Lizzy and I went on a ridiculously spinny ride, and I thought I was going to be sick…. we played in the arcades on the 2p machines and had the loveliest lunch. Good girl time is something I absolutely need in my life and I feel lucky to have these ladies as my friends.

Over the weekend James and I went into town for a walk and for some lunch. We had the most chilled day and ate some great poke (I was only just introduced to what this is; raw fish, like sashimi!) James is pretty flipping good with a camera now and doesn't mind at all when I stop him to take one. As long as I'm quick and don't shout at him, he's good. I am in love with these trousers from H&M. They're so good for my height, especially as they're such a wide leg- the high waist offsets the shape and I think they will look fab with a t-shirt in the Summer.

This was just me at home on a working day playing with my new camera and new mirror! The t-shirt is by Topshop and it's the best fitting and best value ever!

Topshop t-shirtI'm wearing this jacket, these jeans and a different t-shirt here, but much like my Brighton outfit! I LOVE these jeans so much. I haven't found a long line pair like this before. They're also mid rise, instead of high, which I actually really love. I spent this day at a breakfast with Mulberry where I picked up a hot date, Liv Purvis, and we spent the afternoon being girls, catching up and shopping. Then we met Monikh who is also a dream and just had some great girls chats. Good eggs, those two.Last but not least, the same shirt as I started the week with. Because it is that good! On this day I visited the H&M showroom and was lucky enough to be able to choose a couple of my favourite new season pieces, shirt included! I had a lovely lunch with a friend and spent the rest of my day working at home before a pilates class.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post.

Have a brilliant week and I'll be back with more for you on Friday! xx
