A day at home

Hello you lovely lot! I hope you're all having a fab week so far. I wanted to share a usual day at home with you today. The weather has made it a little bit difficult to do my job, and shoot fresh lovely Summer things outside. As I sit here watching the rain smash against my window, I need to let you know that it is pissing me off, greatly. It's so uninspiring when the weather is like this, not only does it kill everyone's mood, it means I'm limited with things to shoot in my usual way for you. So here I am, indoors wearing a very fancy Joseph two piece in lilac, in the hope that it'll invite some sunshine-y rays back our way! Always remaining positive!

Luckily, I'm off to Ibiza next week, and it couldn't come at a more welcome time. I want to share so much Summer content with you ready for your trips away, and the warmer weather at home, so expect that upon my return.

So today, was a really nice chilled day, despite my attitude towards the weather. I was up in the night with dreaded period pains for a couple of hours so by the time my alarm went off, I felt like I'd been kicked in the face. I hadn't though, just being dramatic and hormonal over here. I got up and the first thing I did was make my bed (my number 1 priority in the mornings) then flicked the kettle on for a much needed brew. I pottered around in my comfy clothes for half an hour whilst I woke up and then jumped in the shower and did a 15 minute face mask which helped my tired eyes.

James was off with me today, which is always a bonus. So he made me some eggs and then went off out for a run- he's a machine, honestly. I sat at my desk, brew in hand, and made a big to-do list. A list always helps me to sort my head right out, and at times when I'm feeling uninspired for any reason, it gives me a bit of focus too.

I had to shoot a few things on my film camera, then I shot this look for you, which I absolutely love. Week seven of The Reset Series is now due over on my YouTube channel too, so I filmed my next instalment: this week's episode is about how being kind and showing empathy to others can in fact, help our own anxieties. Pop over HERE if you'd like to watch.

*I had another brew.

*Took a paracetamol for my period pains. The joy of it all.

On Friday, I'm filming an exciting video for La Redoute, so I pulled all my looks together, and checked the weather….it's looking good! So that was another big tick on my list.

At 6pm I have a reservation with some friends at MNKY House in Piccadilly, and I've not been before so I'm looking forward to that so much.

Thats it! That was what today looked like, pretty average, but I do love spending time at home.
