Big T-shirts

The day that I can safely wear a denim skirt in London without the risk of wind burn, will be a great day. Until that day, I will be staring longingly at these images.

I love this look for a casual Spring update. Oversized used to be my 'thing' constantly. Then I learned to love my body more, and felt really great about not hiding under layers and boxy shapes all the time. It feels really good to be able to choose to wear an oversized piece now, instead of thinking that I should maybe hide away under large clothes!

This t-shirt is by The Frankie Shop and I flipping love them. They have a flagship in Paris and NYC and I've been lucky enough to visit both when away with work. It's by far, one of my favourite eclectic stores, expertly curated with a price point and style for everyone. In one of my last posts about taking life steady, and not being in a rush to get through our usual adult to-do lists of life, I talked about saving for a house and how I needed this t-shirt that says "Impulse Overspend" on the front, to get going. Its working! I'm trying hard!

This skirt is one of the best things to have in your wardrobe as things warm up, they literally go with everything and are so great as a casual day time option, or night! depending on what you're up to. My trusty chunky trainers are by Eytys and I adore these too. They're so comfortable and a little different to your standard trainer. They're a Scandi brand too, so, extra points!
