Linen layers

So I recently got a little pocket sized film camera so that I can snap outfits quickly at times when I'm really busy, or need to work over a weekend. Film photography is very much a 'thing' and I've always had an affinity for it; I've kept every film photo I've ever taken/has been give to me by my parents over the course of my life. So far, I absolutely love it. James took these for me this weekend and I really love the results.

We had such a great, relaxing weekend, with a small hangover thrown in. My best friend Laura came to visit from home so we had a good catch up, went dancing and ate a hell of a lot of food; to give you some perspective, she'd been here for 3o minutes and we were three share size bags of Doritos down...

I got this jacket from Mango, and I've recently become such a sucker for linen. I am obsessed. Maybe its because its reminiscent of Spring for me, and we are all so desperately seeking the season of Spring that seems to be passing us by!? Regardless of yet more online moaning about whether spring has gotten flipping lost on its way to us, I do love this look.

The jacket does the talking here, its quite a simple yet chic piece so it doesn't really need much to create a look. I've paired it back with a black roll neck, trusty denim and chunky boots.

You can shop my look below:
