In Paris

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of traveling to Paris, with Lacoste, for Paris Fashion Week. I was lucky enough to be invited out with them last season, too, and it was just as wonderful this time. The show was really incredible, with an important message about how we should be looking after the various dying species of animals in the world, of course complete with pieces of clothing designed to match the message….monkey's, birds, you name it.

I can't write this for you without talking about how cold it was, it was similar in London but, it got to -5 and it was all a bit much, but in a deliriously cold and hilarious way!

Lacoste have some incredible pieces, really well designed and beautiful quality, with a nod to tennis style past and present. The fashion show collection is always so strong too. I chose this chunky Breton striped knit, to keep it simple but, well, warm. It's the softest thing and I've had it on twice since returning home. To make it feel a little more smart, I popped a boxy blazer and a belt over the top with some light denim 501's and off-white Topshop boots.

I need to let you know about this hair slide too- I told you a couple of posts ago how 'into' hair accessories I am and I'm in love with this one. I saw so many variations of cool hair slides during fashion week too. Mine is by Alighieri, the brand that my coin necklace is from.
